about me

I live and work in Luleå, where I have a small studio with a glass kiln. Most of my work is in the material glass. It is fused, slumped and cast. My first experience with glass was a Tiffany course and after that I have subsequently attended glass courses in several different techniques to learn more. My inspiration comes from nature and the power that is there and it is often the simple things that I observe and highlight.

FOUR GENERATIONS

My mother was born and raised in the small sami-village Rensjön, three miles north of Kiruna.

VITTANGI

I was born and raised in Vittangi, a village in the far norht of Sweden. The village is locaded by the Torne River. Photo by my sister Maria.

NIMO

I am so happy that he came into my life, 10 months old, in june 2021. He is an Alaskan Husky.

THE GLASS FURNACE, Turkey

It is the largest and best-equipped glass arts centre in Turkey. Founded in 2002. Three times I have joined two week courses here in: sandcasting, kilncasting and coldworking.

BILDWERK FRAUENAU, Germany

A regional and international forum for glass and visual arts in the glassmaking village Frauenau in Bavaria, Germany. Here I have joined a two week course in: glass engraving.

SWEDISH HOUSE in KAVALA, Greece

I have spent many working holidays in this house.
